Indications for use
Hedussin® is a medicinal plant product used as an expectorant for productive (wet) cough.
Composition
100 ml of the syrup contains 825 mg of dry extract from common ivy leaves (Hederahelix L., folium) (4-8:1). Extraction solvent: ethanol 30% (m/m).
Excipient with known effects: liquid (noncrystallising) sorbitol; a single dose of the syrup contains up to 2813.9 mg of sorbitol (E420).

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient, other plants from the Araliaceae family (where common ivy belongs) or any of the excipients.
- Do not use in children under 2 years of age due to the risk of aggravating the respiratory symptoms.
