Pelafen® 20 mg tablets

Indications for use
Traditional medicinal plant product used for symptomatic treatment of common cold. Pelafen® is a traditional medicinal plant product used for the above indications arising only from long-term use.
Composition
One coated tablet contains 20 mg of dry extract from Pelargonium sidoides DC and/or Pelargonium reniforme Curt., radix (pelargonium root) – Pelargonii radicis extractum siccum (4-7:1). Extraction solvent: ethanol 14% (V/V). For full list of excipients, see 6.1 of SmPC.

Contraindications
Pelafen® should not be used in case of: hypersensitivity to active ingredient (pelargonium root extract) or any of the excipients.

Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
Swallow the entire tablet, washing it down with water. Do not chew. If, despite the use of the medicine, the symptoms intensify or do not subside within 1 week or adverse drug reactions occur, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Do not take Pelafen® after the expiry date. Before using the medicine, read the package insert.
