Recommendations
Biaron® vitamin D 1000 IU is a source of vitamin D intended for daily use during the autumn/winter period and throughout the year for persons who cannot ensure sufficient exposure to sunlight in order for them to maintain the proper concentration of vitamin D. The preparation supplements the daily diet of children over the age of 6, particularly during the growth spurt, as well as adults.
Almost 90% of vitamin D in the body is synthesised in the skin as induced by the solar UVB radiation. Cloudy weather, air pollution, increased skin pigmentation, advanced age, overuse of sunscreen – it all extends the exposure time needed to produce the proper amount of vitamin D or it makes the proper vitamin D supply through skin synthesis impossible, even with sufficient sun exposure. Low level of vitamin D in the body affects the entire population, regardless of latitude, age, sex and race*.

Vitamin D:
- supports the normal functioning of the immune system;
- supports the proper absorption/use of calcium and phosphorus;
- helps to maintain the proper blood calcium level;
- helps to maintain healthy bones and teeth;
- supports the normal muscle function;
- participates in the cell division process.
Vitamin D is necessary for the proper growth and development of bones in children.
Sunflower oil, gelatine, humectant – glycerol, lanolin-derived cholecalciferol (vitamin D).

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the preparation. Do not take more than the recommended daily intake. Do not use the dietary supplement as a substitute for a varied diet. A balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are fundamental to the proper functioning of the body. Before use, it is recommended to do a 25-OH vitamin D blood test and consult the result with a doctor or pharmacist.
