Fiorda® MAX MD
medical device
Hoarseness, throat disorders

Indications of use
- reduce pain and discomfort resulting from irritated throat mucosa caused by:
- infectious agents such as viruses and bacteria,
- physical factors: allergens (including pollen), dust particles in smog, dust, or smoke;
- support the treatment of inflamed mouth, throat and larynx;
- alleviate dry cough and hoarse throat caused by dryness and irritation of the throat mucosa;
- improve comfort for people with xerostomia (dry mouth) and all cases of dry mouth and throat, whatever the cause – especially with prolonged medication, smoking and prolonged exposure to central heating or air conditioning.
Gum arabic – a natural plant-based gum derived from Acacia senegal. Thanks to its hydrocolloid properties, it coats the oral and pharyngeal mucous membranes with a protective layer, helping to soothe the irritation and the related pain.
Irish moss – with its high content of polysaccharides, it creates a delicate polysaccharide film on the mucous membranes of the oral cavity and the pharynx, which coats and protects the dry and irritated mucosa for a long time. Therefore, it helps the mucosa to regain its balance and its primary protective function.
Iceland moss – it contains mucous substances that coat an irritated mucosa, creating a protective film. The film isolates the mucous membrane and reduces its overreactiveness to factors causing irritation and pain.
Essential oils – these are responsible for pleasant flavour and fresh mouth feeling.
