Fiorda® MAX MD
medical device
Hoarseness, throat disorders

Indications of use
Fiorda® MAX MD medical device is used to moisturize the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat by forming a protective polysaccharide layer to:
- reduce pain and discomfort resulting from irritated throat mucosa caused by:
- infectious agents such as viruses and bacteria,
- physical factors: allergens (including pollen), dust particles in smog, dust, or smoke;
- support the treatment of inflamed mouth, throat and larynx;
- alleviate dry cough and hoarse throat caused by dryness and irritation of the throat mucosa;
- improve comfort for people with xerostomia (dry mouth) and all cases of dry mouth and throat, whatever the cause – especially with prolonged medication, smoking and prolonged exposure to central heating or air conditioning.
Mucous substances (polysaccharides) derived from plant ingredients: Iceland moss (Cetraria islandica), carrageenan (Chondrus crispus), and gum arabic have coating properties. The delicate polysaccharide film that forms and covers the dry mucosa helps to soothe irritation and the associated pain. The presence of a colloidal (gel-like, mucous) layer insulates the mucous membrane and thus reduces its hyperreactivity to irritants.
Thus, the Fiorda® MAX MD medical device helps restore balance and regain the original protective function of the mucous membrane.
Main ingredients: a complex of polysaccharide compounds (including mucilaginous compounds) amounting to 690 mg per lozenge, derived from: Iceland moss extract (Cetraria islandica), Irish moss extract (Chondrus crispus), gum arabic.
