Fiorda® Vocal MD, the medical device in a form of soft lozenges, has a beneficial effect in case of sore throat, hoarseness, burning when swallowing and dry cough related to irritation of the throat mucosa due to infection, inflammation, dryness (xerostomia) or contaminated air.
The medical device contains an extract of Iceland moss and marshmallow. The mucilage, that is present in those plants, coats the irritated mucosa, creating a protective layer that insulates the mucosa from irritating factors, such as: dry, cold or polluted air, dust, smog, allergens and infectious agents. Thanks to this, the medical device relieves an irritated throat, soothes the sensation of pain and a dry cough resulting from throat irritation.
The hyaluronic acid in the form of sodium hyaluronate, that is included in the medical device Fiorda® Vocal MD, is a natural mucopolysaccharide. It has the ability to bind and retain water in cells, thus helps to maintain adequate hydration of the mucosa of the mouth, throat and vocal cords.
The product helps to restore balance and regain the original protective function by the mucosa.
Indications of use
- soothing irritation of the mucosa during the treatment of inflammations of the mouth, throat and vocal cords,
- relieving symptoms of dry throat, hoarseness and dry cough,
- improvement of voice emission, especially in people who strain the vocal cords (singers, teachers and lecturers),
- soothing irritation caused by breathing dry air (e.g. in heated and air-conditioned rooms),
- xerostomia (dry mouth)
- adjunctively in the case of pain and swallowing difficulty resulting from dry throat.
Ingredients
One lozenge contains: Iceland moss extract, black currant extract, blueberry extract, cranberry extract, strawberry extract, elderberry extract, marshmallow extract, sodium hyaluronate, gum arabic, sorbitol syrup, maltitol syrup, citric acid, vegetable oil with carnauba wax, sucralose, purified water.
One lozenge contains: Iceland moss extract, orange concentrate, marshmallow extract, sodium hyaluronate, ascorbic acid, citric acid, orange flavour, gum arabic, sorbitol syrup, maltitol syrup, vegetable oil with carnauba wax, sucralose, purified water.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity (allergy) to any ingredient contained in this medical device.
Warnings
Due to the sweeteners contained in the medical device: sorbitol and maltitol, there is a risk of stomach disorders and diarrhea. People who have previously been diagnosed with intolerance to some sugars should consult a doctor before taking the medical device.
Due to the fact that the medical device contains mucilage, the absorption of simultaneously administered drugs may be delayed. Hence, an interval of at least half an hour should be maintained between using the medical device and taking medications.
The medical device should be used by children who can suck on a lozenge, under the supervision of an adult. Do not use in children under 4 years of age due to the risk of choking.
Directions for use
Children over 4 years of age and adults1 lozengeIt is recommended to suck on the lozenge slowly. The lozenges should not be swallowed or chewed.
The lozenges should not be used within half an hour before or after taking medications.
If symptoms persist for more than 7 days or worsen while using the medical device, consult a doctor.
The medical device Fiorda® Vocal MD can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.
Storage
Store in the original packaging, at 3-25°C, out of the reach and sight of small children. Protect from the sunlight.
Do not use the medical device after the expiry date stated on the package.
