Vitamin D helps to reduce the risk of falling associated with postural instability and muscle weakness. Falling is a risk factor for bone fractures among men and women 60 years of age and older.*

*Beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 20 μg of vitamin D from all sources.

Optivitum D vitamin D 2000 IU is a source of vitamin D intended for everyday use in the autumn and winter period and throughout the year for adults who are not able to provide sufficient exposure to sunlight in order to maintain the proper concentration of vitamin D.
